Deposit share capital online with Qonto

Qonto is currently available for founders and entrepreneurs in Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.

With Qonto, you can open a business account for a GmbH (under incorporation) or for a UG (under incorporation).

Unfortunately, we cannot currently accept companies with shareholders who are not resident in Germany (holdings).

Please also note that Qonto does not accept certain business activities.

Before depositing start-up capital into your Qonto business account, we ask that you submit the following documents in digital form:

1. The articles of incorporation and partnership agreement of your GmbH i.G. or UG i.G.
2. Your application to the commercial register
3. Your list of shareholders

After we have verified the details of your company and, if applicable, shareholders, you will be invited by email to deposit the share capital contribution(s). You will receive a temporary IBAN for this purpose, with which you can easily deposit your share capital to your Qonto account via SEPA transfer.

Please note the following information regarding the deposit of share capital:

1. The amount of paid-in share capital must be equal to the amount stated in the articles of association.
2. If the capital contribution is made by several shareholders, they must each pay in their capital contribution individually, as mentioned in the notarial documents.
3. The respective capital contribution must be transferred from an account held in the name of the shareholder in question.

You can track the status of your capital contribution at any time via the Qonto App. Once your contribution(s) have been received, we will verify them and provide you with an account statement as a deposit confirmation for the notary within 24 hours. This document can also be sent directly to your notary upon request.

As soon as the share capital has been fully deposited into your Qonto account, we will issue you a deposit confirmation for submission to the notary. If your company is registered in the commercial register, you can conveniently upload your commercial register extract to the Qonto app. After a quick verification, we will then activate your account.
